tapestry.

I find that life is such a funny work of the universe, and also quite scary. We never know what the future ahead is awaiting for us. It all depends on our actions today. You could start a business right now, at this moment, and in a few years, you could become one of the most successful entrepreneurs in the world. You might even be listed as one of the top 10 richest people in the world, a millionaire, or perhaps, even a billionaire! You could also be fated to become the next Queen of a country. Who knows, one day you might get married to a prince? Of course, you might think you need to be beautiful first to deserve such fates laughs. Well, that's often how it seems to work.

Thinking about this makes me realize that we have so many possible endings in our lives, so many paths that could lead to different life events. Whether good or bad, each experience teaches us something about life, giving us more stories to share with others. They might take it as a precautionary step in order to avoid making the same mistakes as us, but if they make the same choices, it might not be a mistake for them but a new beginning to something good. This is when we realize that not every mistake we make is a mistake for everyone else.

Each of us already has our designated fate. It's up to us whether we want to take on challenges or not. If we try something and fail, it might just mean it wasn't meant for us. We might grieve over it for a long time, maybe a decade or two, but when the time is right, we'll have our moment. For now, we need to embark on a journey. What adds an interesting twist is that even if you think you have it all in your grasp, like a happy family, it doesn't necessarily mean it's yours forever. It could be temporary, and eventually, it might belong to someone else. It's as if you could live with your spouse for 40 years, but when the time is up for you to share happiness together, that's it.

It's indeed, painful to let go of someone you've shared decades with, especially when you have to see someone else embracing them and starting a new family with them, but they're not meant to be yours anymore. All you can do now is grieve and pray to God to wash away the pain. Focus on self-improvement to avoid getting stuck in the same place.

Moving forward, as they say, is far from easy. It takes a lot of courage and strength. If you're fortunate to have a good support system, it can expedite the healing process. If you don't have that support, that's okay too; healing from something like this takes time. Just like someone with a broken leg can't immediately walk again, their leg must heal, and after months, they need physiotherapy to regain normal function.

I just hope that none of us have to live in vain. Sometimes I find myself pondering whether it's better to live with someone we love or someone who loves us. I used to think that living with someone who loves us is the better choice, but I've changed my perspective. Neither scenario is ideal. If you live with someone who loves you, but you don't love them in return, it's unfair to them. You might try to learn to love them, but what if it never happens? Then you'd have to spend your life with them, or perhaps they'd have to spend their life with you, someone who doesn't reciprocate their feelings. When they pass away, they'll have lived without experiencing your love. They'd live in vain. Some might argue it's not the case, as at least they end up with someone they love. But can you fathom a life without affection? Without words of love?

That's just... undeniably sad.

And what about the first scenario? It's the same as the latter. Living in vain, a profoundly unfortunate circumstance. Unless they love us back.

Don't ask why I keep discussing things related to love and relationships. I believe that's what most people can relate to.

Hence, everything we do today will shape our future. Our life is like a blank canvas, and it's up to us how we want to paint it. That's why you shouldn't let others decide for you, or else you might end up with an ugly painting and regret it.
